I need to rant...

What prompted this first post, or, should I say, the creation of this journal?
Well, the nth comment from a friend.
A friend I'm not very sure I should really call 'friend', because sometimes I feel a sort of hostility coming from her, and I don't understand where it comes from.
I mean, people have different tastes, right? Everyone knows that.
But is it really necessary to diss 90% of the things that I like?
And without being asked an opinion about it?
You don't like it, ok. You can say so. No need to explain at lenght why you would never real/listen to/watch it.
Especially if no one asked you.
Especially if you know you're talking to people who like it.
Especially if you want to do it just to be the one who's 'different'.
It really pisses me off, more so when one doesn't even know what she's talking about.
I know I have weird tastes, and I know a lot of people who don't share them, but I've never felt so irked when they told me they didn't as I do everytime she speaks.
The way she does it is just... too much.
Hence this rant.
And I'm sure there'll be a lot more about this topic, and this person in particular.
